The SPORT Magazine's December 1948 issue featured Quarterback Johnny Lujack of the Chicago Bears. Better known for his success in college with Notre Dame, Lujack led the Fighting Irish to three National Titles during the 1940s and was named the 1947 Heisman Trophy winner.
